Art + Writing by Xavier T : Poetry & Prose

Poetry is not my favourite genre. It's limiting and sometimes a little too clever and pretentious.
I like prose though, as no other form of writing achieves the same explosive emotion with so few words.
Like short stories, they tell a tale but without as much need for setting the scene. Their main purpose, to me at least, is to convey an intense emotion.
