Where is my love whose sad dark eyes still haunt my every thought,
Where is thy world my lonely ghost, Valhalla's prince consort.
What happened to our hopes my love, the ones we'll never see.
What happened to your pledge of love, and all I gave to thee.
How so my love, that now the stars no longer take control,
How come my love, that now this wretch can't live without his soul.
How long can I go on my love, shared dreams of bliss and pain,
To wake alone without you here, then weep for death again.
Tell me my love, how beats my heart in your sweet hand's caress,
I hear its distant drumming now inside your silken chest.
Was I possessed to love you so, though you were true and pure,
What did you do to hold me so, that still in death endures.
I'll know not God, I never will - this promise I command,
For you're not there, God's men espoused - I'll die not by his hand!
For despite these mortal trappings, I know of Heaven's law,
And he who drinks euphoria's blood is banished evermore.
Why did my love, Valhalla's call take your sweet love from me,
Did you not think me weak enough to try to follow thee?
Did you believe I could live life, without your scented breath,
Did you believe that time would heal until my mortal death.
Life's emptiness without your touch, now life is just surreal,
These earthly bounds restrain me yet I know not touch or feel.
For I've known a love far greater than any other man,
And I have your pain inside me still, and none can understand.
I long to have your soft sweet face between my ancient hands,
I need to feel your gentle arms embrace me on the sands,
I long to have the peace of mind, denial once enjoyed,
I beg to have the madness of, past nineteen years void.
I've nothing now, and there is nought that comforts me by day,
Then nightfall comes, you reach for me and beckon me away,
You tempt my mind with passions past and love beyond true bliss,
Euphoria's blood still stains my tongue, yet I still thee resist.
I know how much my darling prince, my lips you ache to taste,
And yes I ache as you do to, but cannot thee embrace.
One day my love 'fore life is gone, my kingdom I'll command,
My oath to you, you'll have my breath, I'll kiss Valkyrie's hand.
