Dear Jim:
It's a pleasure to say Hello and Happy Birthday to you.
The first song of yours I ever heard was Paradise By The Dashboard Light. The year was 1977, it was late at night, down by the beach in my old Plymouth Valiant that had GREAT dashboard lights. My friend and I WERE barely seventeen and we WERE barely dressed!! We thought you were writing just for us, and we felt blessed that night.
I've continued to feel blessed by your music through the years, and I still feel like you're writing just for me. I enjoy your work so very much. Thank you.
So, I want to wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope it's great!
Take care,
Barbara Reed
