Hello Jim,
I'm glad I have the tyme to write what I'd like to say down, because I know I would forget if I were telling you face to face.
The songs you've written have served as musical versions of my own favorite story, for the boy I fell in love with when I was 14 and just found again after 6 years. They tend to keep an obsession fresh in the mind I guess =) So thank you for that.
Also, I'm wondering if its wrong for a 20 year old girl to have a crush on a to-be 53 year old man?? hehe...if things don't work out with my long-lost love, you know.....
I love singing, not that I'm incredibly good at it, but I can perform an intense Pandora's Box "Good Girls Go to Heaven..." driving around in my car late at night, complete with dramatic hand gestures that get people staring at red lights. But its fun and therapeutic.
I look forward to all the new songs you'll be sharing with us in the future. I truely believe they're the best I've ever heard, both lyrically and musically.
I feel like I have so much more to say, but its too deep inside me to even come out.
So, all that's left is, happy birthday Jim Steinman, and I think you are one of the most beautiful people I've ever known of.
