Hi Jim,

Happy Birthday!!!!! I discovered your album a couple of months ago in my Mum's record collection. Of course I'd always loved your songs; all that power and energy in one place .... is that really allowed?

But finally I have a voice and face to put to the name and captivating lyrics. And after reading about you in Meat Loaf's autobiography, well I was hooked.

You are truly the most inspiring man. I am addicted to the poetic lyrics of your fantastic songs.

You can paint a picture with sounds - I love that. I can not sum up my awe of you, except perhaps in the words "you are truly amazing!"

You have inspired me in so many ways I cannot begin to explain, so I thank you for that.

Enjoy life and whatever it throws at you, and never forget to smile.
