Happy birthday Peter Pan.

Jimmy, you are my idol.

All the Lyrics in "To Meet Jim Steinman" are true. I have so wanted to meet you to thank you for all you have done for me, perhaps even to work with you but until that time, remember Jim "A World without your music is chaos!" Hey not a bad title for a song - "A World Of Chaos" uh ha ha ha.

But anyway Jimmy, thank you so very much for your help and so I leave you with this piece of advice - do not, I repeat, do not retire. Keep it going and don't let anyone come between you and your music.

Do not let anybody do anything that takes you from that piano because while you're there, you can make a difference in someone's life like you have in mine.

Jimmy, your music whispers sweet nothings in my ear - the erotic lyrics - the seductive power chords - the stories of longing, hope and danger with these long cold winter nights. I have your music to keep me warm. Let your dark mind keep writing words of love and ecstasy. Your words and music are like a warm dark hand grasping my heart, hiding my soul. It takes a lot to keep a person going. Your words, your deeds, your haunting melodies give my life breath and meaning.

TO MEET JIM STEINMAN

DEDICATED TO: MR.JAMES RICHARD STEINMAN
WRITTEN BY: JASON PAUL HEBERT Cp 1999

To meet Jim Steinman would be such a thrill
To meet Jim Steinman I would even kill
To meet Jim Steinman what will I have to do?
To meet Jim Steinman I will make a deal with you

(Chorus)
Everything I say is true
Everything I say I will do
Please can you help me make my rock’n’roll dream come though?
Please just tell me what must I do

To meet this legend of rock’n’roll
I would sell my own immortal soul
To work with him I would make my head spin
To work with him I would commit great sin
To work with such a pro there’s no place I wouldn’t go
He’ll teach me everything I need to know

(Chorus)

I’ve often wonder what goes on in that deep dark mind
trying to find words that rhyme
Even for him to call me on the phone
But, knowing my luck, I wouldn’t be home

When I meet Jim Steinman I will surprise him with my abilities
To write and sing I’ll do anything to make him proud of me
Please Mr.Steinman would you surprise me in saying yes to my request
To write and sing I’ll do anything to make you proud of me

(Chorus)

(Spoken)
Jim you seduce me with your style of music
You write ballads of fire
You fulfill the desire of so many

WALTZ OF SIN

WRITTEN BY: JASON PAUL HEBERT Cp 1999

You can dance into the night
I could dance into your dreams
The night could be filled with a thousand screams
Falling into your arms, we will dance the night away
Falling into your arms, we will dance the darkest dance you can see
There’s a dark painted picture a portrait of me on a wall of broken dreams

(Chorus)
I need to see you tonight
I need to see you in the light
And I think I should warn you
We will be dancing
We will be dancing
The waltz of sin
It’s dark and mysterious
It’s endless
It’s shattered

If there’s one thing, we ever wanted to do
If there’s one thing, we’ll ever need to say
We shall dance the waltz of sin
I know we’ll never dance like this forever
We’ll never do what we should
And when you think we’ll stop for just a little while
We’ll keep prancing for the good

(Chorus)

ROCK IN IN THE HEARTLAND

WRITTEN BY: JASON PAUL HEBERT Cp 1999

A rich northern family buys an old plantation house that used to be owned by a dead songwriter.  Who happens to be a woman, she falls out of the top balcony to her death.  Then all of a sudden the house goes up on the market.  After the family moves into the house, the children decide to leave all their moving chores.  In addition, go out to the front yard and play, as they play talking, laughing, they hear strange rock music being played sounds like an electric guitar being played.  They follow the sound of the music to the north side of the house they look around but see nothing.  Just as they are about to give up searching for the mysterious sound.  One of the sisters looks up and tells the rest of them to look up they do.  They see a ghostly image standing on the edge of the balcony with a guitar strapped around it’s neck.  All of a sudden, she disappears shocked out of their wits the children run to tell their folks.  However, they do not believe the youngsters. So the parents think their making up some story to try and scare them into leaving the house.  Then that very evening late at night the children asleep in their beds are suddenly awakened by this loud guitar music being played again.  So they run to their folk’s bedroom to wake them to tell them what they are hearing.  But.  The parents who can not hear the melodious music being played still do not believe them so they send them back to their bedrooms.  Where the children discuss how or what the music is or where it comes from.  Finally they give up trying and fall back to sleep.  The next morning they go about their last minute moving arrangements.  Then they decide that this afternoon they would go and play in the abandoned hay field just to the south of the house.  They reach the field run in and start playing child like games hide and go seek and tag that sort of thing.  Just then, one of the children spots an image sitting on a tree stomp in the middle of the field.  They go up to it and it appears to be a woman.  They call out to her but she does not answer they move closer.  They see her playing an electric guitar hear her humming a tune to her self the same tuner the teens heard last night. They finally get the woman’s attention by calling to her again.  They ask questions like who she is.  What she is doing here?  Therefore, she begins telling them the story of how she falls to her death and that she was a professional songwriter.  In addition, how she was working on a particular song the night she was killed.  She must finish the song before her spirit can have a path straight to heaven.  Suddenly all the kids are amazed at the woman’s story and one of them says “I want to help” and they all agree they to wish to help the lady finish her song.  So they work day and night and day and finally they finish it but they must have it publish so they go to record company after record company and finally land a record contract.  The song becomes one of the hottest singles around and is performed worldwide.  So after the children do their job they go back to the field to bid good bye to the woman and she is sweep away into everlasting life though her music.
