Hi, I'm Margaret Asker and I hail from the Central Coast of New South Wales. I feel that first I should explain why I chose the name Pandora when seeking a name that gave me anonymity while still saying something about me. I selected it not in any way meaning to relate to Jim's group "Pandora's Box" but simply from my personal knowledge of the mythological character.
Pandora, the first woman made by the gods, had a box of secrets which was never to be opened. Of course it was [rules were made to be broken:)] and its contents, on escape turned into curses upon the earth ..... only one thing was left in the box ... Hope ... and I guess that pretty much sums up what Jim's lyrics give us. Hope that dreams come true and the hope inherent in the discovery that someone else understands our passion and despair. As a Special Steinmaniac once said to me ...... how can this person I've never met so completely express my feelings?
"It Just Won't Quit" sums up my life over the last 12 months, together with my motto for the future "A Wasted Youth is Better by far than a Wise & Productive Old Age." I didn't get to waste all my youth on the first run through so have decided to indulge in a second childhood at full speed! Might be much more exciting than "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" which I feel I've been doing for far too long. Rationally I know only heartache awaits but while I have the music I'll continue to live in Hope.
Jim, may I wish you good health and further inspiration ...... your loyal fans eagerly await your next opus.
