Hello Jim!

It's fairly hard to describe in not too many words how special your music is to me. No other music touches me the way yours does. No other music is capable of evoking such powerful emotions like yours. For this I want to thank you.

Ever since I read that the follow-up of Bat out of Hell should have been titled "Renegade Angel" I thought what a wonderful title this would be and what a wonderful song this would have been if you'd ever have recorded it.

I loved the concept and decided to try out my luck by writing lyrics to such a topic (even though I know it would be just a pale shadow compared to your works).

This one is for you.

Happy Birthday and continue to bless us with your songs!

Renegade Angel

And still they think
that day by day
the same old trod
is the only way
But for how long
This I have known:
Their so called wisdom
isn't written on stone

I never asked for much
and I got even less
It's just not enough
There's too much emptiness
Have all the dreams gone?

Has all drowned in the abyss?

out of this monotony

and their false morality
This eventless life here
is only worth dying for
But what I really want
is something worth living for

All that drives them
is insanity and greed
All that presses them
is jealousy and need
Nothing ever shakes them
as long as blood they feed
I want no part in it!

Breaking away and flying free

Answering to no-one but me
I want time for myself
and experience something new
With so many dreams to chase
There's so much still to do
